I just found a blog about everything. Really, that’s the name, a blog about everything. I suppose I will say that I like it (enough to be the top commenter). Today at http://www.blogoferic.com/?paged=2 I read a post about Save on gas: a comprehensive guide which was interesting, There are a lot of things happening in the world that are bad, but gas prices going up should not be the thing that breaks us. He has 2 main proposals; drive less, and drive correctly.
I really liked his first idea - walk.
When I left the military I was in great shape, 8 years of running around in the sand does that for you. People who had been in the Corps with all started to get soft, a little overweight and then fat. Out of my buddies only one stayed in shape and he just left the Corps after 22 years.
I should say the only one besides me. I am not in shape like I was back then, but I am not horribly overweight like so many I know. I think the main reason is that I walked. I was disabled and needed 4 operations, so I am not in the greatest shape, but after the Corps I moved to Paris, France. We take the metro and walk. I didn’t get a driving permit for the first 6 years here and was not bothered during the 6 week metro strike in November and December 95 because I just rode by bike the 18 kilometers each way.
But I digress.
Eric has an interesting blog that covers a lot of different things, not just one topic as so many people tend to do. Me, I’m like him in that anything worth talking about is worth writing about. I’ve only been there a dozen times and I learned something new each time. (Entrecard being the most recent)
I hate getting into things like Entrecard but may do it to see what happens to traffic.

Thank you for mentioning and stumbling blog. I will write more useful articles as long as there are readers.
As for my blog post about saving gas, you might have missed the second part of the article http://www.blogoferic.com/?p=107
Hope you can find something interesting there, too.
Thank you!
