I helped a friend publish a blog carnival today and saw something really interesting. 2 internet marketers, Yaro Starak & David Bullock, submitted articles to be published using the name of a better known internet marketer.
If you don’t know the form of a blog carnival, it will look like this:
———-
Terry Dean presents What If Its Not Working? posted at Integrity Business Blog by Terry Dean. A list of 8 strategies you can use to turn your failing project into a winner. All of this assumes you’re using the strategies such as market research, probes, sales letter websites, email follow-up, PPC ad testing, etc.
———-
Instead, there were two blog carnival submissions that used the name of a well known and respected internet marketer as the presenter of a blog post of an unknown blogger, posted like this.
———-
WellKnow Guy presents Just another post posted at The blog of an unknown Internet Marketer
———-
So cheating has come to the Carnival world. Next, people will submit to all the carnivals, then swap a good article out for a spam landing page. Just watch, it’ll happen.
