Répertoire d’Articles is an article directory that my partner and I have made. She is focused on marketing, has been for years, and I have always been IT. Maybe not the match you would expect, but I build the sites for her in my spare time. Thinking about it, I build a fair few sites in my spare time.

This site was created because there is not a site for people to publish their French articles, or at least none that are being used.

I tried to build the site using the software from Article Dashboard - simple software to install and use, but I had to translate everything. I did almost the entire translation and then saw that for some reason the AD software was taking out the French accents. If you don’t know, the accent totally changes the way a word is pronounced. Bummer.

I changed to a WordPress Theme that is supposed to be an article directory, it works for now and the translation was no issue. We will see if it works over the long haul.
