OK, it’s finally happened.

Tip’d is out of a one year beta and has officially launched.

They have added some improvements that should make users happy:

• Published stories get direct links.
• No redirects, and no ‘nofollow’ directives
• ‘business’ and ‘entrepreneurship’ categories added
• The down-voting function (‘Topple’) has been overhauled
• Subscriptions to receive published articles via e-mail
• Upcoming stories can be sorted chronologically or by popularity
• More effective duplicate submission detection
• Better spam handling

At the time of this writing, Tip’d has over 1800 members, including me, who have submitted thousands of articles.
